Kieron Safstrom is the director of Australasian Nutrition Services, a non-profit organisation fixated on the development and implementation of international health advancement programmes.
Since graduating in February 2017 with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Nutrition, he has been working in India and Australia growing his projects’ reach. His Milk4Marks work – and Indian school breakfast program – has begun to receive recognition, with a nomination for the Curtin University Alumni Achievement Awards as well as securing funding which will see him travel to New Zealand for the Social Enterprise World Forum later in 2017. He has begun an ambassador role for Chuffed.org, a crowdfunding platform, and is a guest speaker of theirs, presenting at the Social Impact Festival. He is also a consultant to Development Together, an international work experience exchange program with a presence in several developing countries.
Time has gone very quickly since graduating from Curtin for Kieron and he will continue his work with the successful Milk4Marks campaign whilst pursuing two other ventures in the digital and tech fields.
