Keen to give back to the healthcare scene, Phyllis pursued her passion through the private and government sector in Singapore alongside her mother as a fellow nurse. Awarded a full scholarship by the National University Health Systems to pursue her Diploma in Nursing, she chased after knowledge further and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) from Curtin. Coupled with her role as a senior state Registered Nurse, she is currently a Centre Manager for an established Voluntary Welfare Organization in her home base of Singapore. She has worn many different hats in her primary role as a nurse, the main being an advocate for patient and person-centric care.
With that main goal in mind, Phyllis has many ongoing projects, programs and start-ups with different hospitals and organizations around Singapore all revolving around improving and ensuring medicine and healthcare is affordable, accessible and understandable for persons of all ages.
