Emily Aldridge

Relationship: Graduate, Young Alumni Advisory Board member

Emily combines her passion for people, nurturing great relationships and leadership in her career in Human Resources which has spanned multiple industries and sectors. Her current professional role is with a growing gold mining company as a Senior Human Resources Advisor where she leads a team of four and provides support to employees across multiple sites.

Emily graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resource Management) and will be graduating with a Masters of Business Administration (leadership stream) in late 2019. She has been able to support her learning and growth through ongoing training and development across her career and is committed to sharing her knowledge and passion for Human Resources with others. Outside of her professional commitments, Emily is a mentor in the Curtin University Next Step Mentoring Program which pairs current students with industry representatives to support their transition to post-study opportunities.

With the opportunity for a role on the YAAB, Emily hopes to inspire other young alumni to continue to strive for learning and development opportunities through both personal and professional networks.
