Curtin Commerce graduate Triana Nguyen had no idea that she would meet her future husband, fellow Curtin graduate Allan Tran, while studying at Curtin! ๐๐
First crossing paths in 2015, Triana met Allan while forming a group for a team project in a Business Communications class.
Since then, the couple have gone on to graduate together and even get married - you could say Curtin holds a special place in their hearts! ๐
โGraduating together from Curtin was an amazing experience for both of us because we started university together and were able to witness each other completing our degrees and stepping into the next chapter of our lives. It was a truly lasting memory,โ Triana said.
Their fondest campus memory was enjoying their study breaks together at the Wednesday food markets at Lower Henderson Court.
โI canโt help but reminisce about the good old days when we would treat ourselves to a long lunch at the Wednesday food markets, particularly Street`s Oasis, before heading off to our classes,โ Triana says.
The secret to keeping a relationship alive after university? For Triana and Allan, it all comes down to communication and making time to celebrate milestones together.
โBy making an effort, you are creating new memories and experiences together. Stay connected whether it be catching up for coffee or a long dinner,โ Triana said.
