Curtin’s 2020 Appeal is about bringing our community together to exchange news and pleasant memories while agreeing on a worthwhile opportunity for contributing to the common good.
This is a great occasion for alumni to connect with current students – our fantastic Student Ambassadors who will be reaching out by phone. They are looking forward to talking with you!
The Appeal will run for six weeks from 29 September to 7 November.
This year, as part of the Appeal, our students will be asking you for your thoughts on a question that will help them in their own pursuits and that they can share with fellow students. The question is: what is the most important value to live by in order to ensure a successful life?

The Carrolup Centre for
Truth-telling
This year, our Appeal will focus on raising funds for the Carrolup Centre for Truth-telling – a permanent home for rare and precious artworks by children of the Stolen Generations, lost overseas for more than 50 years and recently returned home to Nyungar country. These beautiful artworks have the power to illuminate a dark chapter of Australia’s past, deepening our understanding of the long-term impacts of dispossession and discrimination and encouraging us to walk together towards a more just and inclusive future.
As a Founding Donor of the Centre, you will be thanked by name in The West Australian, and you will also be recognised permanently through a beautiful installation in the Centre, a space designed to expand the hearts and minds of all Australians.

2019 Annual Appeal recap
The 2019 Annual Appeal ran for ten weeks, from 21 August to 30 October – Curtin’s longest phone appeal to date!
Thirty-five student callers were recruited to ask graduates, in ways big or small, how are you making tomorrow better? We were so inspired by all the special conversations and inspiring stories that were shared, and thanks to your support, a huge $102,000 was raised!
This phenomenal achievement highlights the outstanding generosity of our alumni community. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
