Presenting ‘Lemon’, a Hayman Theatre show

December 5, 2019
6pm to 8pm
The Blue Room Theatre, 53 James St, Northbridge, WA 6000
Curtin alumni and guests
$15 - $20

Curtin’s Young Alumni Advisory Board (YAAB) is proud to invite you to a screening of Lemon, a Curtin Hayman Theatre play, on Thursday 5 December 2019 at the Blue Room Theatre.

An ecological comedy about finding the joy in hopelessness, Lemon features current Theatre Arts students, and is directed by Curtin graduate Adam Mitchell and written by Gita Bezard.

The play weaves together characters struggling with the destruction of the planet, the pessimists, the fighters and those who see the world through lemon tinted glasses.

But before the show starts, we’ll enjoy refreshments and networking with fellow young graduates and friends.

Lemon is the STAGE ONE production for 2019. STAGE ONE is an initiative of the Theatre Arts major or course at Curtin University. Now in its 8th year, STAGE ONE offers a Western Australian playwright the opportunity to write and premiere a new play and provides our undergraduate acting and technical students with the experience of working with a professional playwright on a new work.
