Early Childhood Sharing Circle

October 9, 2019
12pm – 2pm
Curtin Campus | School of Education, Building 501, Room 204 Kent St, Bentley WA 6102
Pre-service teachers, graduate teachers and experienced teachers

The Early Childhood Education (ECE) Alumni Chapter will be holding its next Early Childhood Sharing Circle on Wednesday 9 October 2019.

Building on the success of the previous Sharing Circle, the session will further explore how we can include Aboriginal perspectives into the Early Childhood classroom in meaningful ways. We will continue to look at Aboriginal culture, lore, protocol and how to incorporate these practices into our learning and teaching.

This event is open to pre-service teachers, graduate teachers and experienced teachers. We would love to see people at all stages of their teaching career come together to share ideas. Participants will receive a certificate of appreciation for participating in this session.

We look forward to seeing you there!

About the chapter

The purpose of the ECE Alumni Chapter is to support early childhood teachers throughout their careers by providing learning and professional development opportunities. We are a passionate group who love helping children learn and succeed. Through sharing experiences, we hope to build a strong network of professionals who can draw from each others’ successes and share practical advice to implement in the classroom.

Curtin may have lost touch with some of our ECE graduates over the years, so please feel free to forward this invitation to your Curtin friends. We encourage all graduates to update their details via the Alumni & Community Relations website.
