Curtin University has decided to postpone all event bookings for its Perth Campus until further notice.

We have made this decision in light of the increasing spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, the importance of acting responsibly to protect all those on our campus and in our community, and the recent announcement by the Prime Minister regarding the need to reconsider large, non-essential events.

We apologise for any inconvenience, but believe it is the most responsible course of action.

Curtin’s Professional Learning Hub, in partnership with the School of Education, is delighted to present Autism: Going beyond inclusion to empowerment on Saturday 28 March 2020.

This research-based conference is for professionals who support individuals with Autism and their families as educators, health care professionals and social services. Our goal is to disrupt traditional deficit models of thinking to promote and develop unique areas of strength for individuals with Autism, through academic learning, skill development and community involvement.

The conference will provide a venue for professionals to engage with the latest research in the area of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and gain practical knowledge of information and strategies to support individuals with ASD.
