The Young Alumni Advisory Board (YAAB) is a team of dedicated, driven and passionate Curtin graduates who embody Curtin’s values of integrity, respect, courage, excellence and impact. Coming from different backgrounds, they are united by their desire to maintain a connection with Curtin University and help other young graduates to do the same.
The YAAB celebrates diversity in all its forms. We value people’s age, culture, ability, sexuality, gender identity, religion, and beliefs. We know that we are stronger and better together and acknowledge that everyone comes with their own lived experience and background. It is important to us that everyone in our community feels safe, valued, included and appreciated, and we are committed to modelling inclusive behaviour. – Jordina Quain, Former Co-President, YAAB
